PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging planter allowing an easy seedling planting work. SOLUTION: A bag 1 can be hung by means of handing holes 8a and 9b formed at the upper part of the bag. On the side faces of the bag 1, cross-shaped cuttings 10 for constituting insertion parts where a plant is inserted are formed. The bag 1 has an upper opening due to a cutting 6 and also an opening and closing part 7 at a part vertically extending along the right side. The opening and closing part 7 is constituted in such a manner that it can be freely opened and closed by using a hock-and-loop fastener 8a and 8b.
