PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a venting panel which can be easily and inexpensively attached by forming a plurality of protrusions on a plate material to constitute this panel and fixing the protrusions to face the inside of a building, to a fitting part of an exterior facing material of an external wall structure and attaching the external facing to the outside. SOLUTION: This venting panel 10 is formed so that a part of a plate material 11 is protruded to one side face. The protrusions 12 are formed square and distributed as a matrix having a plurality of files and ranks. After structural plywoods 23 have been attached to columns 21 and studs 22, a moistureproof sheet 24 is stuck and further, the venting panel 10 is superimposed thereon together with lath 30 so that the protrusions 12 face the inside of the building. Mortar 40 is applied to reach the recesses of the venting panel 10 through the meshes of the lath 30 to form the external wall structure. A heat insulation material may be filled between the columns 21 and the studs 22 or may be stuck together with the structural plywood. In this way, a ventilation layer 14 can be formed and ventilation air can be obtained in a simple structure and further, it can be easily and inexpensively constructed and the construction period can be reduced.
