PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter which can generate electric connections of high reliability and safety without requiring troublesome procedures. SOLUTION: This adapter is composed of a first casing piece 6 having open over-part equipped at the inner wall surface with terminal mounting parts 6a and 6b in which a pair of plate-form terminals 7a and 7b for external connection can be inserted from one side in such a way as isolated in insulation from each other, voltage measuring terminals 8a and 8b installed on the bottom surfaces of the terminal mounting parts 6a and 6b, a second casing piece 9 which is mounted rotatably at the other end of the first casing piece 6 and seals the over-part opening in such a way as fitting to each other, current measuring terminals 10a and 10b which are installed on the inner wall surface of the second casing piece 9 opposing to the parts 6a and 6b of the first casing piece 6 and are connected in pinched attachment to the plate-form terminals 7a and 7b by the voltage measuring terminals 8a and 8b when it is fitted to the first casing piece 6, and connecting terminals 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b whose one- side ends are connected with the terminals 8a and 8b and the ones 10a and 10b and other ends are led out on the side wall of the first casing piece 6.
