PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a lamp by suppressing the heat generation of the lamp. SOLUTION: This controller has a sensor part 2 executing the photometry of object luminance, an illuminating part 5 radiating illuminating light to an object, an automatic focus detecting part 3 detecting a distance to the object and a controlling part 1 controlling the illuminating part by receiving the photometric result of the sensor part 2, and the controlling part repeats the turning on and off of the illuminating part by a specified cycle in the case that the object luminance is lower than specified luminance. |
