PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a trick mode without revising internal data of a transport packet. SOLUTION: In the case that a reproduction mode instructed by a reproduction information section 5 indicates a trick mode, a mode information setting section 33 sets data to realize the thick mode and provides an output of the set data to a 1394 packetization section 32. The 1394 packetization section 32 adds a packet header suitable for an IEEE 1394 bus including the set data to the transport packet and provides an output.
