PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an icing prevention heater which is excellent in responsibility and outfitting properties, and can obtain a proper heating value. SOLUTION: A conductive and paste shaped exothermic substance 16 is coated or directly printed over the outer surface of an intake air system body 10 acting as a throttle body or a carbureter body. The coating and printing of the paste shaped exothermic substance 16 over the outer surface of the intake air system body 10 can be freely applied to the outer shape of the intake air system body 10. The outer part of the exothermic substance 16 is covered with a band shaped positive electrode 18. An electric circuit 24, from a switch 20, a power supply 22, the intake air system body 10 and the electrode 18, to the exothermic substance 16, is connected with one another and an interval between the power supply 22 and the intake air system main body 10 is thereby grounded. Heat is generated in the exothermic substance 16 by turning the switch 20 on, and the intake air system body 10 is thereby heated by the heat of the exothermic substance 16, so that icing can thereby be prevented.
