The windscreen wiper has the blade (24) fixed to the end (26) of the arm (22), by a connector (44), anchored on to the blade. The connecting part of the blade has two parallel, longitudinal side wings (30), with a transverse fixing pin (36) fitted between them. A lock plate (64) fitted through the connector rotates around the vertical axis A2, to lock the connector in place, by a cutout (90) in the lower section (82) of the plate.
