Two rectangular frame members (1) are connected by a flexible strip (6) which is adhesive on one side. The card (2) to be coated is placed in the first frame member while the foil (4) to be applied to its top side is placed in the second frame member, and rests on a protective foil (3). There is a protective foil in the first frame, which adheres to the underside of the card. Closing the frame like the covers of a book brings the foils into close contact with the card. |
