PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively alleviate the impact on an occupant in a resin pillar trim of a vehicle upon collision with the pillar trim by increasing the degree of freedom relative to the rib setting direction and the degree of freedom relative to the rib thickness setting. SOLUTION: A resin pillar trim 2 is installed on a center pillar 1 of a vehicle. The pillar trim 2 is formed by integrally molding a trim main body 10, a rib forming portion 11, a thin hinge 12 for connecting the trim body 10, and the rib forming portion 11 developed as shown in the chain double-dashed line. After it is installed on the inside of the cabin of the center pillar 1 in a condition where the rib forming portion 11 is rotated to the back face of the trim main body 10 centered on the thin hinge 12 relative to the trim body 10, presumed directions A, B is which the head of the occupant collides with the pillar trim 2 and a vertical rib 13 of the rib forming portion 11 are set to be substantially in the same direction.
