The telescopic shelter comprises sections (2) movable in the same direction for erecting above a space (4) to be protected. Each section comprises a roof (5) supported by two side uprights (6) each comprising a part (8) shaped as a circular arc which extends the roof laterally. The circular arc part has a different radius from one section to another and comprises a lower end (9) located at the same level for all the sections. The roofs of all the sections have the same width (L).
