PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient use of audio function and navigation function in a data reproduction device for vehicle. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a MD drive 1 and a CD drive 2 and distinguishes whether a MD set in the MD drive 1 and a CD set in the CD drive 2 are respectively for music or for navigation to switch over a two- gang switch 5 in accordance with to the result and transfer data to an audio circuit 6 or a navigation circuit 9. When CD data or data input in a data input part 16 is recorded in an MD, the data is transferred to a record part 14, the MD drive 1 and are stored in the MD.
