SOLUTION: In a self-traveling crushing machine having a rotary crusher and a rotary tub introducing wood charged from the outside into the rotary crusher by rotation on a self-traveling truck, an object crushing number-of- rotation setting means 5 setting the objective crushing number of rotations Nhm of the rotary crusher, an actual crushing number-of-rotation detection means 12 detecting the actual crushing number of rotations Nh of the rotary crusher, a crusher driving means making the rotary crusher 1 freely rotatable and a control means 16 receiving the objective crushing number of rotations Nhm from the objective crushing number-of-rotation setting means 5 and the actual crushing number of rotations Nh from the actual crushing number-of- rotation detection means 12 and comparing both of them to input a crushing rotation control signal Nbn ready to keep 'Nh-Nhm=0' to the crusher driving means 10 are provided.
