PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of improving the nozzle detergency of an engine and useful for gasolines, light oils, jet fuels, etc. by including a compound prepared by reacting an alkylsuccinic acid derivative, etc., with a polyamine and a nonionic surfactant having a specific HLB (hydrophile-lipophile balance). SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including a compound prepared by reacting an alkylsuccinic acid derivative or an alkenylsuccinic acid derivative with a polyamine and a preferably an ether type nonionic surfactant having 14-22C hydrophobic groups which are a saturated or an unsaturated hydrocarbon group and 4-14 HLB (preferably a sorbitan fatty acid ester type).
