PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy machining and assembling in a small space by a method wherein members constituting a door are machined up to a finishing process separately and assembled in a final-stage process. SOLUTION: A frame element body (30) which has an engagement part (21a) for engaging a panel board (33), in the inner edge part in the lengthwise direction, and has a decorative sheet (25) stuck on the peripheral surface is formed, and stile main bodies and rail main bodies of prescribed dimensions are formed by cutting the frame element body (30). The stile main bodies and the rail main bodies are subjected individually to end-part machining for connection and body-part machining for fitting small-article components such as hinges and a knob, so as to form finished stiles (32) and finished rails (31). The finished stiles (32) and the finished rails (31) are assembled respectively in the shape of a frame, while the peripheral edge parts of the rectangular panel board (33) are put in engagement by the engagement parts (21a) thereof.
