PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite type mass flow meter capable of measuring the mass flow rate at a high accuracy in a simple structure, without disturbing the flow. SOLUTION: A temp. sensor 15 is mounted on a columnar body 11 for producing a Karman vortex, a Karman vortex sensor 17 is provided for obtaining the mass flow rate from these, utilizing the Karman vortex, the drag by a strain sensor 14 provided on the columnar body 11 is also combined to obtain the mass flow rate, and hence the mass flow rate can be measured at two systems in a simple structure by placing the columnar body 11 only in a fluid, with hardly disturbing the flow.
