PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nozzleless ink jet recording system employing elastic surface wave in which energy efficiency is enhanced while preventing interference of the elastic surface wave with reflected wave. SOLUTION: An elastic surface wave propagation body 1 is provided with a unidirectional elastic surface wave generating means 4 comprising a comb electrode 2 and a matching circuit 3. The comb electrode 2 is divided into three parts 21, 22, 23 which are fed with driving signals having phase shift of 120 deg. from the matching circuit 3. The part 21 including the first and fourth comb tooth parts 21a, 21b of the comb electrode 2 is fed with a driving signal of phase 0 deg., the part 22 including the second and fifth comb tooth parts 22a, 22b is fed with a driving signal of phase 120 deg., and the part 23 including the third and sixth comb tooth parts 23a, 23b is fed with a driving signal of phase 240 deg.. When the period of three comb tooth parts matches the wavelengthλof an input signal or equal to an integer times thereof, elastic surface waves excited at respective comb tooth parts are added in the direction of arrow A and canceled in the direction of arrow B.
