The device has at least one light source (14) and a light-permeable plate (22a,40) with cavities (22c,52), whereby radiated light is radiated to one of plate edges. The edge of the plate to which the light is radiated runs in a plane vertical to the cavities in order to refract the light to at least a part of the cavities, thereby producing a first presentation in the direction of an observer. Devices are provided for producing a second presentation and for interrupting (18) the production of the first and/or second presentation. For production of the second presentation a second light-permeable plate with cavities is provided, with light being radiated to one of the plate edges. The light is refracted to at least a part of the cavities, thereby producing the second presentation in the direction of an observer. |
