PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device which facilitates the detachment of a toner recovery tank and prevents the waste toner from leaking into the image forming device main body during the detachment of the toner recovery tank. SOLUTION: The device has an image formation frame 35 to which image forming units 24-27 are fitted, and the image forming device main body in which the image formation frame 35 is housed so as to be drawable. On the side of the underneath of the image formation flame 35, a toner recovery tank 74 is detachably housed. When the toner recovery tank 74 is attached, a shutter 84 on the frame side is pressed to the toner recovery tank 74, to open a toner discharge passage 76. When the toner recovery tank 74 is detached, the shutter 84 on the flame side returns to its original position by the elastic force of a spring 85, to close the toner discharge passage 76. |
