PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel oligonucleotide that comprises an oligonucleotide containing a specific base sequence, and is useful in simple and inexpensive gene analysis for judging the genetic polymorphism in the cleavage site with a specific restriction enzyme in the vitamin D receptor gene. SOLUTION: This novel oligonucleoticle comprises the oligonucleotide containing the base sequence of formula I, the oligonucleotide containing the base sequence of formula II, the oligonucleotide containing the base sequence of formula III, the oligonucleotide containing the base sequence of formula IV and the like and is useful as a primer or the like for the polymerase chain reaction that is used in the gene analysis that can simply and inexpensively judge the genetic polymorphism at the cleavage site with four restriction enzymes: FokI, BsmI, ApaI and TaqI, in the vitamin D receptor gene area. These oligonucleoticles are obtained by examining the amplification performance is optional, individual 2 sites among 4 cleavage sites of the 4 restriction enzymes of the vitamin D receptor gene on the 12 th chromosome. |
