PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain rewriting and free edition on an image/voice recording medium in a real time. SOLUTION: A packeted data generating part 10 generates packeted data suited for being recorded in an optical disk 5 by compressing an AV(audio/video) signal. A recording and reproducing part 15 records the packeted data from the packeted data generating part 10 in the optical disk 5, and operates reproducing processing for fetching an RF signal from the optical disk 5. A packeted data decoding part 30 reproduces the packeted data from an RF demodulation signal from the recording and reproducing part 15, separates the compressed audio and video signals, and extends and decodes the signals. In this case, the packeted data generating part 10 formats the compressed voice signal first and then the compressed image signal. |
