PURPOSE:To enable accurate counting and displaying, by generating a pulse with the frequency corresponding to the operating cycle of an object to be counted based on the results of actual measurement requiring a fixed frequency of operation to count and display the results. CONSTITUTION:A switch 17 is closed to start a time counting circuit 8 and then, the prayer of a religion or the like is chanted. When the chanting frequency reaches a specified value such as 10 times, upon the opening of the switch 17 the changing time equivalent to ten times or the like is measured actually. Based on the actual measured value, the frequency division ratio is controlled through a frequency division ratio specification circuit 9 and a pulse is outputted with the cycle corresponding to the cycle of the chanting actions from a variable frequency divider 7 to be counted and displayed accurately with a counting circuit 6, a display and the like. |
