The angular stop system for a shaft (9) which can be rotated more than a single revolution. The shaft is mounted so as to rotate in a support (1,2 see Fig. 1) and includes: - a series of p stops (19, 20, 21) mounted on the shaft (9). Each stop of row n in the series has at least an angular wedge (26,27,28,29,30) designed to co-operate with a contiguous angular wedge of a neighboring stop in row n+1 and/or row n-1.- DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The first stop (19) of the series is fixed to the shaft (9) and the other stops (20,21) are freely mounted so that they rotate on the shaft; - a fixed angular stop (32,34 see Fig. 1) is mounted so as to co-operate with a supplementary angular wedge (30) fitted on the last stop (21) of the series (19,20,21) and is directed towards the corresponding end (16,17) of the shaft (19)
