PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound field controller which is able to prevent the occurrence of ringing phenomena or the breakage of a loudspeaker by attenuating the signals, having a frequency affected by an unstable zero point and, in addition, can achieve desired characteristics for signals having other frequencies. SOLUTION: Frequency ω0 affected by an unstable zero point is obtained by using the error signal e(n) between a reference signal d(n) from a reference signal generating filter 3 and a replica c(n) from an adaptive filter 4 and the reference signal d(n), and the frequency ω0 is set as the passband of a filter 7. Then the signal obtained by passing a pseudo-noise through the filter 7 is inputted to the adaptive filter 4, by adding the signal to an observed signal y(n) at a listening point, and the filter 4 is controlled so as to minimize the power of the error signal 3(n). The resulting filter coefficient is set at a convolver 1, and original sounds s(n) are supplied to a loudspeaker and the reference signal generating filter 3 through the convolver 1. |
