PURPOSE: A device for fastening a shelf of an automobile is provided to prevent abnormal sound generation and performance deterioration by improving a fastening relationship of the shelf located on a rear portion of a rear sheet and an upper portion of a trunk room of hatch back car. CONSTITUTION: A device for fastening a shelf of an automobile includes a concave hole(42) and a plate(45). The concave hole is formed in a bottom surface of a shaft groove(40) of a hook(38) to accommodate an outer diameter of a support shaft(35). The plate, which is an elastic body, protrudes downwardly from an upper portion of the shaft groove to fasten an upper portion of the support shaft. A stopper is formed at a rear end portion of the plate to prevent the plate from entering excessively when the plate is connected with the support shaft.
