FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes examination of patient peripheral blood to determine content of hemoglobin, thrombocytes, ESR, prothrombin index and thymol test; determination of absolute number of lymphocytes and segmentonuclear leukocytes, percentage in blood formula of segmentonuclear, juvenile and relating to stab neurophil leukocytes, basophils, zozinophils, monocytes and lymphocytes, total number of leukocytes, glucose level, concentration of total bilirubin and protein, color index and also patient age, weight and mean diameter of tumor; calculation of diagnostic indices by definite formulas. Presence of two and more positive first hematologic parameters and diagnosis indices with respect to threshold level, distant metastases of malignant tumors are diagnosed. In case of absence or pressure of one of positive analogous parameter or diagnostic index, determined additionally are mean diameter of tumor and total number of lymphocyte population, and diagnostic indices are calculated by definite formulas. If in this case even one positive diagnostic index and parameter of mean diameter of tumor with respect to threshold level are present distant metastases of malignant tumors are diagnosed. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
