A method for attaching a radio wave absorber readily and stably in a short time, characterized by joining panels (3) which have respectively a plurality of ferrite plates (4) joined to the surface of the panel (3) to a shielding plate (2) which is provided on an installation part such as a ceiling, a wall or a floor, connecting a supporting rod (6) to the ferrite plate (4) so as to protrude therefrom, laying the base side of a wave absorber (1) along the surfaces of the ferrite plates (4), protruding the supporting rod (6) through an opening (11) on top of the wave absorber (1), putting a covering tray (8) on the wave absorber (1) so as to let the tip of the supporting rod (6) pass through the covering tray (8), and screwing a nut around a theaded part (12) of the supporting rod (6), thus fixing the wave absorber (1).
