PURPOSE:To make the photosensitive part high-sensitivity, by enlarging the area of the photosensitive part practically to improve the use rate of the light by forming overflow drains in every other line. CONSTITUTION:In photosensitive part 22, photosensitive parts 22-1, 22-2... which are arranged two-dimensionally and are divided in the vertical direction finely are provided in the transverse direction, and transfer part 21-1 is provided in the left of photosensitive part 22-1, and overflow drain 23-1 is provided between photosensitive parts 22-1 and 22-2. In this manner, drain 23 two transfer parts 21 are arranged alternately between photosensitive parts 22. Drain 23 provided between photosensitive parts 22 flows electric charge overflowed from photosensitive parts 22 i both sides to suppress blooming. Consequently, the area occupied by drain 23 becomes small, and the area occupied by photosensitive parts 22 is enlarged, so that the use rate of the light can be improved and the sensitivity of the inter-line CCDs can be improved. |
