PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieving device, etc., which can retrieve a desired destination point speedily and accurate with convenience for a navigation device which has a destination point setting function using spot candidates constituted in hierarchical structure. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a DVD-ROM disk DK stored with recognition words which are recognition words as candidates for spot information indicating destination points that a vehicle should reach and constituted in hierarchical structure including (m) (m: natural number larger than 2) layers, an external microphone 200 for inputting voice information corresponding to a recognition word belonging to one layer, and a CPU 6 which decides the layer that the recognition word corresponding to the inputted voice information belongs to and retrieves the destination point according to the decision result. |
