PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a discharge product from stagnating and being discharged in a main discharge space by inserting a body in each of gaps between a first main discharge electrode and paired pre-ionizing electrodes up to a height of the start point of the contact of a corona electrode and a dielectric pipe. SOLUTION: A pair of main discharge electrodes 1, 2 are faced opposite, and a pair of corona pre-ionizing electrodes are faced so as to ensure gaps S1, S2 at the side of the main discharge electrode 1 which have a width W and extend along the length are disposed on the top face of a support board 6 together with the main discharge electrode 1. Conductors 10 are inserted in the gaps S1, S2 ensured between the main discharge electric 1 and corona pre-ionizing electrodes 12, and have a height h set to fill at most up to the height up to a previous origin 11, so as not to block the irradiation of an ultraviolet ray generated from an origin at the contact 11 of a dielectric pipe 3 and corona electrode 5 in a main discharge space. |
