PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally display three-dimensional (3D) data by a display except a device by which the data is created by enlarging a model to be projected on a plane for display when the model of the 3D data is small by a conversion processing means. SOLUTION: CAD data are read from a 3D data storage means 1 to store the 3D data created by a 3D-CAD device, etc., and the scale of the model along axes of the 3D data is calculated by the conversion processing means 2. A minimum size model along the axes is calculated by the conversion processing means 2. And when the size of the calculated minimum model is smaller than a coefficient specified by the size of a display screen, an enlarging ratio is calculated by using a required equation. In addition, an enlarging processing is performed to each coordinate value, the 3D data are outputted to a display data storage means 3 with a format for the display and the processing is completed by the conversion processing means 2. In addition, the displayed data of the display data storage means 3 are displayed on the display like a VRML viewer, etc.
