WATERPROOF AND THERMAL BARRIER MATERIAL

A textile assembly useful for providing protection against heat or cold when used in garments is described. The protection is provided by an air space within the assembly. The air space is provided by a spacer material located within the assembly, which prevents two adjacent material in the assembly from abutting.
