摘要 <p>A lithographic imaging member has a support having thereon a melanophobic silicone copolymer layer and a contiguous surface melanophilic layer composed of an inorganic or organic polymeric matrix. The siloxane copolymer being represented by the structure: -HARD-SOFT- wherein HARD is a segment derived from a non-silicone, melanophobic polymer, and SOFT is a segment represented by structure (I) wherein R1 and R2 are independently substituted or unsubstituted, linear or branched organic radicals, and m is from 20 to 10,000, and SOFT comprises greather than 50 % of the copolymer on a weight basis. Either or both layers include a photothermal conversion material capable of converting irradiation, such as IR radiation, to heat in exposed regions. This imaging member can be digitally imaged, for example using a laser, and used for printing without wet processing.</p>
