PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control system for an uninterruptible power supply unit capable of identifying a slave UPS(slave uninterruptible power supply) where an abnormality occurs, discriminating the kind of the abnormality, linking a power source with a selected UPS and performing power source control optimum for a system operation. SOLUTION: A master UPS(master uninterruptible power supply) 200 and slave UPSes 300 and 400 are connected through a local network(LAN) and power source linkage is controlled by data transfer through the LAN. In this case, for instance, when a fault occurs in the slave UPS 300, the fault occurrence is reported from the slave UPS 300 to the master UPS 200, fault detail information is transmitted to the master UPS 200 corresponding to an inquiry from the master UPS 200 and the master UPS 200 reports the fault information to a basic processor 100 and stops the operation of the slave UPS 300 corresponding to the instruction of the basic processor 100. |
