PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device without color irregularities and without problems in terms of display such as the roughness of the display by forming many columns for controlling the interval between a color filter substrate and a thin film transistor substrate to be fixed and adhering both substrates by an adhesive layer applied to the upper surface of the columns. SOLUTION: A light shielding layer 11 composed of resin is formed on the color filter substrate 2, color filters 10a-10c are laminated on the light shielding layer 11 and the column is constituted of the lamination of the laminated color filters 10a-10c. An oriented film 8 is formed on a transparent insulation film 12 and the adhesive layer 14 for adhering the color filter substrate 2 with the thin type transistor substrate 1 is formed on it. Then, by adhering and fixing the color filter substrate 2 and the thin type transistor substrate 1, a panel gap is kept constant. Thus, the liquid crystal display device without the color irregularities or luminance irregularities as display performance is obtained. |
