PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing suitable to a small-sized image forming device by which high image quality is obtained and the occurrence of leakage is prevented even in the case of using low-resistance developer. SOLUTION: As for the device 100 equipped with a housing 110, the device 100 is provided with a developing roll 120 arranged opposite to an image carrier 130 which is moved with an electrostatic latent image in a direction shown by an arrow A and for holding the developer supplied from a developer supply part 150 on the surface and carrying the developer toward a developing area D, a power supply 180 for impressing a developing bias voltage on the developing roll 120 and carrying rolls 140 arranged opposite to the developing roll 120 after passing through the developing area D and for receiving the developer on the developing roll 120 and carrying the developer to the developer supply part 150. Two-component developer using low-resistance magnetic carrier whose volume resistivity is <=10<8> Ω.cm is used as the developer. |
