PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce harmonic distortion by constituting a winding machine, so that it contains electromagnetic winding which is provided with a device having at least two channels and producing at least one current waveform. SOLUTION: Windings in respective phases of the motor of the machine comprise a group of separate conductors C0-C9 which run through the slots in the motor and the path of which is specified so that they run to a common bundle. Separate conductors need four power switching elements 21-32 arranged in an H-bridge structure, and the sum of all the currents passing through the conductors C0-C9 an arbitrary instant is detected by a current sensor 33. The effective switching frequency found in each phase of the motor is made equal to a value obtained by multiplying the switching frequency of power switches to the conductors C0-C9 in series by the number of the conductors by sequentially turning on/off the power switches. As a result, the power switches can operate at a frequency which is relatively low and thus highly efficient, and target current waveform can be tracked with a high resolution. Therefore, harmonic distortion is reduced. |
