PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ornamental parts excellent in durability, resistance to discoloration, etc. and an ornament, and electronic device and a portable watch furnished with the parts. SOLUTION: External ornamental parts 1 for a watch are provided with a coating layer 2 made of a pd-Zn alloy on a base 4 through at least one substrate layer 3. The Zn content of the coating layer 2 is preferably made to 0.5-5 wt.% and the thickness of the coating layer 2 to 0.3-11μm. Moreover, the coating layer 2 as a plating layer is preferably provided by using a palladium chloride-amine plating soln. Further, at least one between an Rh layer and an Au layer is preferably provided on the coating layer 2.
