PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to draw an output pattern in a short time without depending upon the pattern length of a unit pattern, by drawing the pattern by using a line generating means, which inputs a line patter, head position data, and drawing position information, and generates the output pattern. SOLUTION: The line pattern generated from unit patterns is held in a pattern holding means 3 having a length more than twice as long as the long side of the display screen of a display circuit. The head position is set within the range of the length of the long side of the display screen of the display circuit from the head of the pattern holding means 3 and the pattern is drawn by using the line generating means 5 irrelevantly to the pattern length of the unit pattern. Here, an input means 1 inputs the unit pattern, an offset value, and drawing position information. A head information holding means 4 holes head position data. The line generating means 5 inputs the line pattern, head position data, and drawing position information and generates and outputs the output pattern to a display means 6. |
