<p>A presser assembly is provided for supporting carton blanking scrap during a blanking operation. The presser assembly includes a presser rail having a first end mounted to a guide cylinder and a second end mounted to a second guide cylinder such that each end of the presser rail is vertically movable independent of the opposite end. This, in turn, prevents jamming of the presser assembly during the blanking operation.</p> |
