FIELD: shielding equipment for protecting plants in greenhouses from excessive light. SUBSTANCE: draping shield has flexible strips of thickness below 100 micron. Strips are knitted or woven and joined by threads so as to form continuous fabric, with strips making at least a portion of fabric surface. Portions of strips are made from light and/or heat-reflecting foil, preferably aluminum foil. Remaining part of strips is made from halogen or phosphor-containing polymeric film. System of threads is partially composed of fireproofing material, such as modacryl or polyester or their mixture. Shield is water-permeable. Such construction provides low combustibility and increased resistance to ultraviolet radiation for long time.
