PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operating vibration and operating noise, by forming almost sinusoidal continuity signals based on position sensor signals and controlling a brushless motor based on the conducting signals. SOLUTION: Rotor position detection means 31a, 31b detect rotating position of a rotor of a brushless motor 20 rotating and driving in a direct drive method for at least one of an agitator body and rotating tank, and outputs a position sensor signal. A microcomputer 60 forms a plurality of phases of almost sinusoidal continuity signal based on the position sensor signal from the rotor position detection means 31a, 31b. And the drive means 59 apply currents to a plurality of phases of windings 26u, 26v, 26w based on the conducting signals from the microcomputer 60. Because of this, torque fluctuation hardly occurs in the brushless motor 20. By doing this, operating vibration and operating noise of the washing machine can be further decreased. |
