PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lock phenomenon of a rotor by providing a partition member partitioning a first chamber and a second member and having a protruding piece regularly provided at the first chamber side wall surface so as to come in contact with a developer, and a rotating body with uniform magnetization formed in the direction of a rotation axis. SOLUTION: A first chamber 22 and a second chamber 24 are partitioned by a sleeve 18, and a rotating body 26 with a plurality of uniform magnetic poles formed in the direction of its rotation axis is rotatably provided in a hollow part of the sleeve 18, that is, in the second chamber 24. The sleeve 18 is formed in hollow cylindrical shape using metal or plastic, and a protruding piece 20 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18 continuously in spiral shape in the direction of the rotation axis. When the rotating body 26 is driven around the rotation axis, a developer 14 held to the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18 by a magnet is displaced on the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18 in such a way as to slide on the protruding piece 20 in association with the change of the magnetic field. The developer 14 is therefore prevented from infiltrating between the rotating shaft and the bearing of the rotating body 26 to cause a lock phenomenon. |
