METHOD FOR SETTING INK JET DENSITY, MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, DISPLAY AND APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an ink jet density accurately in a short process by writing a plurality of nozzle combination line patterns for actually coloring a color filter pixel and determining the ink jet density from the color density thereof. SOLUTION: A color filter substrate 53 is set on an XYθ stage 52 arranged on a frame 51 and a color filter 54 is formed on the substrate 53. Coloring is then performed for the color filter 54 by means of a head unit 55 comprising ink jet heads for R(red), G(green) and B(blue). In this regard, the color filter 54 is manufactured by jetting ink while scanning the head unit 55 and the color filter substrate 53 relatively. Coloring is controlled by operating the density of ink being jetted to the color filter substrate 53 based on specified ink density, color density of line pattern and color density of pixel required for the color filter 54.
