<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproofing packing capable of securing stable fireproofing performance for a long period of time at the time of connecting a fireproofing double layered tube and simplifying work by having a plural number of projections on an inner peripheral surface of a ring body and having elasticity. SOLUTION: A fireproofing packing 1 is a ring body constituted of a fabric material, a builder and a connecting material and having elasticity and has a plural number of projections 3 on its inner peripheral surface. In order to connect a fireproofing double layered tube 9 and a tube fitting 15 to each other, the fireproofing packing 1 is installed on an outer periphery of an end part 5a of an inner tube 5 projected by specified length from an outer tube 7 of the fireproofing double layered tube 9, and the fireproofing double layered tune 9 is inserted from an opening end part 11b of the inner tube 11 of the tube fitting 15. The end part 5a is made contact with a ring step part 11a, and the fireproofing pacing 1 is placed in a compressed state between end parts 13a and 7a of the outer tubes 13 and 7. This pressure contact state is sufficient to perform a role as a joint treatment material of the fireproofing packing 1 and effective to prevent generation of abrasion resistance of more than necessary at the time of installing the fireproofing packing 1.</p> |
