PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ink jet recorder in which the record quality does not deteriorate even if the environmental temperature is varied. SOLUTION: When a record command is delivered at step 100, the environmental temperature T is detected at step 110 and when a decision is made at step 120 that the temperature T is lower than 15 deg.C, the number N of recording clock pulses per record data is set at 3 at step 130 and recording is performed at the set number of recording clock pulses at step 170. When a decision is made at step 140 that the temperature T is higher than 35 deg.C, the number N of pulses is set at 1 at step 150 and when the temperature T is between 15-35 deg.C, the number N of pulses is set at 2 at step 160 before recording is performed at step 170. More specifically, record quality is enhanced by setting a number of pulses depending on the environmental temperature thereby controlling the number of ink jetting times. |
