Tilting or turning lever for valve drive of internal combustion engine

The lever (1) is pressed into the receiving boring (2) of a guide shell (7). The outer part (4) of a hydraulic play levelling element (3) is slid into the boring (9) of the guide shell, which has a radial internal projection (10) on its side facing away from the bottom. This projection fits in a recess formed by a reduction in diameter of the outer part. The projection may be in the form of a flange running round the shell, or of uniformly spaced holding projections. The shell may be formed by drawing without subsequent machining.
