PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit the weather strip in a retainer provided for a center pillar efficiently in operation. SOLUTION: A locking part 53 for positioning the weather strip 5 for a retainer 6 at the time of mounting, is provided for the mounting base part 51 of the weather strip 5. A projection 55 to be locked on to the engaging recessed part 62 of the retainer 6, is formed at the terminal part of the mounting base part 51. And a hollow part 57 is also formed at a position close to the outer side in the root part of the projection 55, in which the projection part 55 is folded in when the projection 55 is pressed onto the edge of the engaging recessed part 62.
