摘要 PURPOSE:To easily inspect the kind and amount of articles with high precision at high speed. CONSTITUTION:Article color information composed of the feature color and area of an article surface for each kind of an article is previously registered by an article color information learning and registering means 8. When the kind of the article as the object of inspection and the number of staffs are applied from an inspection information generating means 9, an inspection reference color information generating means 3 calculates a reference color area by multiplying the number of staffs to the area for each registered feature color of the objective article. An image color information classifying means 4 integrates an actual color area in the same color as the registered feature color by analyzing a color for each unit area of an image photographing the plural objective articles. An inspectional judging means 5 judges the degree of coincidence between the integral value of actual color areas and the reference color area and decides whether the amount for each kind of articles exist as many as the scheduled number of staffs or not. Therefore, since the feature of articles is grasped corresponding to the color and the area, the amount of articles can be inspected with high precision at high speed by the device simplified in comparison with a method utilizing pattern matching.
