摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a communication distance without enlarging the power of a power source by making a tag to be monitored pass between a main body device and a tuning circuit and reinforcing electromagnetic connection between the transmission coil of the main body device and the reception coil of the tag. SOLUTION: The transmission coil 21 of an interrogator 10 has a planar shape and it is formed in a circle or a rectangle, preferably a square. The transmission coil 21 and the tuning coil 50 are arranged so that they are substantially parallel and are coaxial, namely, the center axis of the transmission coil 21 is matched with the central axis of the tuning coil 50. The tag 30 is formed by arranging and forming a transmission/reception coil 31a on one plane or separately generating the transmission coil 31a and the reception coil and arranging them on one plane. When the tag is used as a data carrier system, the tag moves such that the plane of the coil 31a passes through a path 100 between the coil 21 of the interrogator 10 and the coil 51 of the first tuning circuit and electromagnetic connection between both coils is reinforced.
