[Also in Division C5] A hydrocracking catalyst of closely specified activity comprises a porous inorganic oxide, at least 10% of the pores having a diameter greater than 300A having deposited thereon a hydrogenation component. The porous support may be silica-alumina or silicazirconia and the hydrogenation component Mo, Co, Cr, W, Fe, Ni or Pt-group metal as metal, oxide or sulphide. The pore size may be adjusted by steaming, treatment with HF or adding fines before gelling.</p> |
